Yue Guang Bai (月光白), or "White Moonlight" is a white tea from Pu'er County, Yunnan Province, China. It is produced from young buds and leaves using traditional Yunnan technology with long-term drying in the open air.

Appearance

Characterized by a contrasting color: one side of the leaf is dark brown, the other is light, covered with thin silver fluff.

Aroma and infusion

Delicate, fruity and floral aroma. The infusion is transparent, light golden, with time it turns into an amber shade.

Taste

Soft, sweetish, without bitterness and astringency. Light sourness adds freshness, the aftertaste is round and enveloping. With aging, honey notes appear, bringing the tea closer to red varieties.
