Delivery policyBan Zhang Sheng Pu'er is pressed into convenient 6-gram medallions—the perfect size for tastings, daily tea drinking, and travel.
This tea is made from raw materials collected in the ancient forests of Xishuangbanna (Yunnan Province). Young spring shoots and leaves are used. After harvesting, the raw materials are sorted and then carefully dried—first in the sun, then in the shade. The next step is roasting in kettles and gentle rolling, which "seals" the tea's natural properties, halting oxidation processes and preserving the beneficial properties of the leaf.
However, fermentation in sheng tea is a living process and continues even after processing. As a result, with each brewing, the tea becomes softer, deeper, and more interesting, revealing new facets of flavor.
In the final stage, the leaves are dried again to remove excess moisture and pressed into medallions. Ban Zhang Medallion Pu'er has a distinctive aroma that evokes images of a warm forest. When dry, the tea smells of herbs, tree bark, and moss, with hints of berries and wild mushrooms.
The taste of young pu'er is subtly tart, with woody and herbal notes. As it steeps, sweet nuances emerge—honey, dried fruit, pine freshness, and a slight berry tartness in the aftertaste.
