ACTION:

Due to the acids it contains, Iceland moss has a general strengthening effect on the body and improves energy. Usnic acid is a natural antibiotic and helps fight various bacteria, and is also effective against Koch's bacillus, which causes tuberculosis.

Cetraria has a coating effect on the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, therefore it is used for bronchitis with a severe cough, bronchial asthma, whooping cough, and chronic bronchial catarrh.

Iceland moss has a powerful cleansing effect on the lungs of smokers and is especially helpful for those quitting smoking.
