A thick extract of fresh burdock root.

Burdock root's chemical composition is truly unique. No other plant can boast such a rich array of components. In publications, burdock root is often referred to as "Russian ginseng." The root is an ingredient in many traditional Eastern medicines. Burdock root extract contains amino acids, polysaccharides, inulin, palmitic and stearic acids, tannins, phytosterol, sitosterol, macro- and microelements, and other components.

The composition and biological effects of burdock root harvested at different times can vary dramatically. In 2003, Visterra employees discovered L-β-asparagine crystals for the first time in a spring burdock root extract. However, this substance was not found in an extract obtained from plant roots harvested in the fall. Further studies of the biological effects of spring burdock root extract demonstrated its greater antitumor activity compared to autumn burdock root.

Scientific literature has shown that the anti-inflammatory activity of herbal remedies made from dried burdock root is several times weaker than that of herbal remedies made from fresh root juice. Therefore, Visterra LLC processes exclusively fresh burdock root.

Visterra LLC is the only company in Russia that processes fresh May burdock roots, which have not been dried or stored for long periods, as production is located on the site of plant collection and cultivation.

In 2003, our specialists began researching the composition and properties of burdock root extract and developed optimal processing methods. May burdock is known to possess the greatest activity. In 2005, we began developing methods for growing burdock in our own fields. Since 2007, burdock has been cultivated, and over 150 tons are grown annually. In 2006, our employee, R.S. Boev, defended his PhD dissertation, "Chemical Study of Burdock Roots as a Source of Biologically Active Substances with Antitumor Activity."

Since 2017, Visterra LLC does not sell thick burdock root extract to other health product manufacturers and is not responsible for the quality of this product from other manufacturers.

All burdock raw materials are processed fresh in May to produce a thick extract with a dry matter concentration of 60-65%. This product can be stored in refrigerated containers for extended periods. The packaging date is indicated on the finished product packaging. The thick extract may contain asparagine crystals.

ACTION:

The extract binds and removes toxins from the body, stimulates the liver's detoxifying function, exhibits antiulcer activity, has anti-inflammatory and bactericidal properties, stimulates metabolism, reduces uric acid levels in the blood of gout patients, and normalizes blood sugar levels. The extract supports kidney function and inhibits stone formation.

L-β-asparagine, isolated from burdock roots, has been shown to have a dose-dependent apoptosis-inducing (programmed cell death) effect on tumor cells. Experimental studies on cell cultures and transplanted tumors have revealed the antitumor and antimetastatic activity of an aqueous extract of burdock roots and L-β-asparagine isolated from it.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Dissolve the thick extract in 100-150 ml of warm water. Take 3 times daily 20-30 minutes before meals.

Adults:

For diseases of the hepatobiliary system and gastrointestinal tract (hepatitis, chronic pancreatitis, gastritis, duodenal ulcer) – 1 measuring spoon (1 ml) for 1 month.

For mastopathy, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and benign prostatic hyperplasia: 2 scoops for 2-6 months.

For intoxications: 1 scoop for 3-4 weeks.

For gout and urolithiasis: 2 scoops for 4-8 weeks, 2 times a year.

For cancer: 2 scoops for 4 weeks, 3 times a year.

For chemotherapy and radiation: 2 scoops between courses of antitumor therapy.

For children:

Ages 1 to 6: 1/2 scoop for 3-4 weeks.

Ages 7 to 12: 1 scoop for 3-4 weeks.
