Osmanthus fragrans (Osmanthus fragrans) Mainly used as a pleasant flavoring in teas and foods. Believed to have antioxidant properties and help improve skin health. Generally considered safe when used as a dietary supplement. Little scientific evidence on side effects at high doses. Possible allergic reaction in sensitive individuals.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) Widely used to relieve digestive problems (e.g. indigestion, gas, irritable bowel syndrome). Refreshing, helps with headaches and nausea. May worsen heartburn (gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD) - should be avoided. Rare allergic reactions.
