RECOMMENDATIONS IN TRADITIONAL MEDICINE

Marsh cinquefoil has antipyretic, diaphoretic, analgesic, astringent, hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, wound-healing effects.

It is used to treat rheumatism, digestive disorders, colds, as an antipyretic, acute toothache, metabolic disorders, uterine bleeding, pulmonary tuberculosis.

It is also used as an anti-inflammatory and wound-healing agent. The decoction is used to rinse for sore throats and bleeding gum ulcers. You can wrap dry chopped grass in gauze, pour boiling water over it and, after it cools down a little, apply it to sore spots.

Alcohol extracts are recommended for the treatment of inflammatory processes in the joints and salt deposits. The effect of marsh cinquefoil is slow, so long-term treatment is required.

Method of preparation and use:

Pour 1 teaspoon (2.0 g) of crushed plant material with one glass (200 ml) of boiling water, leave for 15 minutes, strain the infusion. Adults take 1/4 cup (50 ml) of infusion 4 times a day during meals, or 1/2 cup (100 ml) 2 times a day during meals. Store the prepared infusion in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days. Duration of administration is 1 month. Repeated administration is possible during the year. Before use, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
