Althea syrup is a medicinal product. It has a reflex expectorant and local anti-inflammatory effect, reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions.
Indications: respiratory diseases accompanied by a cough with difficult-to-separate sputum (tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, bronchitis).
Orally: Children under 12 years old - 1 teaspoon of syrup, previously diluted in 1/4 cup of warm water, 4-5 times a day after meals. Children over 12 years old and adults - 1 tablespoon of syrup, previously diluted in 1/2 cup of warm water, 4-5 times a day after meals. The duration of treatment is 10-15 days. Use with caution in patients with diabetes and those on a low-carbohydrate diet. Before use, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
